Winners of 2019 Vancouver Arts Carnival " Splendour of Canada" Paintings Exhibition and Competition:
Ms. Rosita IP has the closing voting result with four correct guesses: 036, 082, 097 and 106 and she will receive the prize of an original painting as well as be invited to the dinner banquet.
Objectives: Promotion of Crossing Boundaries Exchange of arts and culture amongst different ethnic groups of B C Province. Encouraging creativity and harmony of community in an open-to-all Art Carnival.
Theme: Beauty of Nature; Wonderful and Prosperous Life; Multicultural Characteristics and Community Care.
Timeline
- Recruitment of Art Work – 10thJan to 15th April 2019 (Mon)
- Preliminary Screening of Exhibits – 16th April 2019(Tuesday) to 23rd April 2019 (Tuesday). A Selection Committee nominated by us will select 120 to 140 artworks to enter the exhibition and another 20 on reserve list.
- Notification of Result and collection of original paintings from finalists – 24th April 2019 (Wednesday) to 2nd May 2019 (Thursday).
- Adjudication of Awards – Jurors will come to exhibition venue during the period from 18thto 27th May 2019 to adjudicate the winners.
- Exhibition – 18th(Sat) May to 14th June (Fri) 2019. Total of four weeks.
- Awards Presentation and Closing Ceremony – 8thJune (Sat) 2019, from 2 pm, at the Centre Atrium of International Village Mall; and thereafter VIP Reception at the International Arts Gallery.
- Celebration Banquet – 8thJune (Sat) 2019, from 6 pm, at the Peninsula Seafood Restaurant of Oakridge Centre.
- Any alteration to the scheduled time-line shall be in accordance with announcement at the Organizer’s official websites.
